Born in Vancouver in 1955, I moved with my family to the small town of Williams Lake at the age of 10.
How small was it you say? Well at the time there was about 3,000 people, we had one street light at 3rd and Oliver, and there was still a board sidewalk part way up Oliver Street.

I grew up in Williams Lake and attended Poplar Glade Elementary School (destroyed by fire a couple of years ago) ... Williams Lake Junior Seconday ... and graduated from Columneetza High School in 1973.
In 1974 I married my high school sweetheart, Bev. We have two children, and 3 grand-children.
In my teens became involved in the
broadcast industry, where I worked for nearly 30 years. My career began at Cariboo Radio (CKWL in Williams Lake), and after being there for many years, I left to be part of the start up of CFFM, also in Williams Lake.
My radio career ended in Kamloops following a 10 year sales position at 98.3 CIFM, and what at the time was JC55 (now B100)
Currently, I am currently employed in Sales / Marketing with the BC Adventure, FishBC, and See the Rockies tourism websites.

I have been interested and involved in politics from early on ... and in fact had my first campaign experience working as a volunteer for the federal Liberal Party in my early teens. The campaign was for David Zirnhelt back in the days of Trudeau-mania. (He later became a member of the BC Legislature for the NDP)

After moving to Kamloops in 1992, I became involved with the BC Reform Party, and ran as a candidate in the 1996 provincial election, in the Kamloops North Thompson riding.
I have also been a member of, and worked on several campaigns for, the Reform Party of Canada.
In September 2010 I joined the BC Conservative Party where I am the Regional Director for the Kamloops, Thompson, Nicola, Fraser area.
